Webinars As A Career

Busy_woman

I just saw this job listing on Monster.com for an International Webinar Manager. Very cool. This is the first time I have seen a job title and description focused solely on management and production of corporate webinars. And by coincidence, the company is about a half hour drive from my home! If only I needed a new job...

Have you seen enterprise job openings for webinar professionals? Are you a dedicated webinar professional yourself? I would love to profile a business professional who works full time on web seminars for his or her company. Write to me through Webinar Wire.

  • I would argue that many companies have been hiring dedicated "webinar" managers, it's just some companies use "webcasting" manager instead. I saw such an opening with Salesforce.com and we are always looking for "webcast managers." In the end, our managers do manage and produce webinars on behalf of our customers. Let me know if you're interested in seeking this perspective =) Best, Cece

  • I Stumbled across this blog recently, and I'm glad I did! I've been feeling lonely in my webisphere. Seems like in the past few months the interwebs have been teeming with news on webinars, which makes my ears tingle. In direct response to you Ken, I was hired with my company in spring of 2007 as a Webinar Producer, making me living proof we exist! Other people with this title are quite a rarity, I agree. Cece works for On24 who’s specific industry generates webinars from start to finish. On24 is our vendor, as we use them as our webinar platform.-----on a side topic, what’s this I hear about On24 finally introducing adobe flash platforms!?
