So how do you get people to register for your webinar in the first place?
A tried and true marketing and advertising method is called AIDA. Read any product advertisement in a magazine, or any direct response sales letter, and it will contain these elements:
Attention – to get people to register for your webinar, you need to get the attention of your audience. You need to cut through the clutter. This is usually in the form of a headline. Think how you read a newspaper…scanning the headlines for topics of interest. Your webinar headline should grab their attention.
Interest – once you get their attention with the headline…in the first few sentences, you need to generate interest in your webinar subject and keep them reading. This is where you feature some of the key benefits your product or service provides.
Desire – make them want what you have. Help the reader visualize the benefits of your product or service by attending your webinar... save time, save money, increased prestige, freedom, financial independence. How will attending your web event help your audience? Use that to create desire and the ultimate step:
Action – your goal is to get them to register for your webinar, clicking on a link or accessing the registration page from your website. Make it clear what they need to do.
Remember AIDA and watch your registrations come in!
